Rheostat (AVI-EE - 517)
double tube covered (perforated) same as cat.no 1002 but these are covered rheostats and joined together in parallel dia 56 mm approx
Meter Bridges (AVI-EE - 518)
(a) Having 2 gaps with heavy brass strips Bakelite 4 mm terminals and full sunmica base. (b) cat no 1041 same as cat no 1040 But in 4 gaps.
Kohlrauch Conductivity Bridge (AVI-EE - 519)
This instrument is designed for the direct measurement of resistance of electrolytes etc. The slide wire is circular type with dial calibrated from 0 to 10 ohms. There are six multipliers of 0.1, 1, 10, 100, 1000 and 10000 ohms thus giving a total range of 0.01 to 1,00,000 ohms. The bridge is suitable for use on a dry battery. Instead of galvanometer sensitive telephone receiver or headphone can be used. The position of the slider is adjusted to the position of minimum sound in the headphone. The coils are of covered Eureka wire and properly aged. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge. Accuracy of coils + 0.1%.
Induction Coils (AVI-EE - 520)
For use with above instrument.
Headphone (AVI-EE - 521)
Extra sensitive for use with Kohlrauch Bridge.
Student Kelvin Bridge (AVI-EE - 522)
Improved Welch Pattern Direct reading. Specially suited for the measurement and checking of low resistance coils of thick rods and dynamos. All components nearly arranged and internal connections easily traceable in conjunction with the enclosed double ratio box and a standard decade dial gives a range of measurement 0.000005-0.55 ohms. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge
Potentiometer - Cum Kelvin Bridge (AVI-EE - 523)
It is an improvement over standard potentiometer. A press button type sliding jockey moves along the graduated scale on a metallic rod. The dial has fourteen resistance coils connected in series. Each coils having its resistance equal to the resistance stretched wire. When connected with a Double Ratio Box the unit works a Kelvin Bridge. A tapping key is provided in the Galvano-meter circut, without double ration box. ohms. All coils are calibrated on imported testing bridge
